Pay: $60/class depending on skill level, plus 50 cents per mile if driving more than 20m roundtrip.
Location: 1515 Bennett Ave, St. Louis, MO 63122
Dates: For February through the summer.
STEM Knowledge needed: None.

Qualifications:

Part-time position
AA Degree (or higher)
2 years teaching/instructing (preferred)
Passion for education and fostering the joy of learning in children
Experience working with children
Educational (development or training) experience
Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
Must commit to the full proposed schedule
Great communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

Implement engaging chess lesson plans for students of varying skill levels.
Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management and communication.
Provide individualized tutoring and support to enhance students' understanding of chess strategies.
Encourage participation and teamwork among students during practice sessions and tournaments.
Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to meet diverse learning needs.
Maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere for both children and adults in the classroom.

Willing to complete mandatory training
