Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understands the ethical and confidential standards required for the position
- Process payroll and handle all payroll matters in a strictly confidential manner
- Process receivables and ensure timely payment of invoices
- Process payables and ensure timely payment
- Deposit checks and cash receipts and ensure proper handling of checks and cash receipts
- Match supplier invoices to authorizing purchase orders and proofs of receipt
- Obtain payment approvals for non-cost of goods sold invoices
- Process expense reports
- Process credit card payments
- Issue stop payments and void checks
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts
- Pay supplier invoices
- Monitor supplier W-9 form submissions
- Update the vendor information master file
- Extensive use of computers and computer programs including but not limited to Sage, Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office Programs
- Establish a good working rapport with customers, vendors, the accounting department, customer service, sales personnel and manufacturing personnel
- Apply verbal and written communication skills to internal and external customers
- Continually exhibit the qualities of trustworthiness, a strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
- Manage and organize own work while remaining a team player
- Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area
- Regular, consistent attendance, available to deal with daily issues during normal business hours, odd or extra hours will be required as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.69 - $18.04 per hour
