NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time BIM Coordinator in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Job Summary
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) Projects.
- Produce and update electrical power and lighting drawings as required for install.
- Produce and update electrical power and lighting drawings as required for design.
- Manages project work and assigns BIM Technicians work as needed
- Responsible for project schedules between BIM, Field, Trimble, and Prefab
- Collaborate with internal teams, managers, and external clients to deliver CAD/BIM support.
- Conduct on-site walkthroughs and inspections as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in BIM coordination, construction experience preferred
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and ACC
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and customer service support skills
- Familiarity with Evolve Electrical add-ins is a plus
- Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) is preferred
- Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and complex technical documents
- Strong time management
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage tasks across multiple projects
- Analytical mindset for reading and understanding specifications and submittals
