NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time IT Support Technician in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Job Summary
- Supports end users by navigating the IT infrastructure and relevant applications and collaborates with 3rd-party support providers.
- Configures new computers for employees and provides overview of basic software, hardware and peripherals device operations.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues with PCs, local network, server, telephone and other IT platforms.
- Responds to requests for IT services, repairs, support, general inquiries or concerns.
Qualifications
- 1 or more years recent desktop support experience.
- Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and EXCEL).
- Knowledge and experience with servers, networks, PC/printer maintenance, antivirus software, Windows OS, and MS Office.
- Ability to recognize and analyze technical problems.
- Strong written and oral communications, time management, organizational, attention-to-detail,, interpersonal, and customer service support skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and explain technical needs and problems to provide solutions.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
