Our client, a luxury hotel in downtown Norfolk Virginia seeks a Lobby Attendant to join the team. In this role, you will greet patrons at the front door or entrance, direct them to the right areas, and keep the lobby looking presentable. You will also answer patrons' questions that are within your scope.
While there are no formal educational qualifications for this job, our ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills and some experience in a customer service role.
Lobby Attendant Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide upkeep to the lobby areas to ensure they are clean and presentable
- Greet and assist patrons, directing them as needed
- Provide customer service and answer patrons' questions
- Lift bags or other objects as needed
- Assist guests with special needs
Lobby Attendant Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Experience in a customer service role (preferred)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Friendly and helpful demeanor
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays
