Sales Representatives are responsible for selling products directly to hospitals and managing activities within their assigned territory, which includes multiple accounts. The primary goal is to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales and gross profit targets. This involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a portfolio of accounts, and building strong relationships with hospital purchasing contacts, surgeons, and other medical professionals.

Sales Representatives are responsible for selling products directly to hospitals and managing activities within their assigned territory, which includes multiple accounts. The primary goal is to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales and gross profit targets. This involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a portfolio of accounts, and building strong relationships with hospital purchasing contacts, surgeons, and other medical professionals.
Responsibilities
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Propose pricing for customer quotes and offers
- Gain in-depth product knowledge to effectively sell the company's product range
- Attend and learn to support the use of company products in the operating theatre
- Build and maintain relationships with hospital purchasing contacts through regular visits
- Attend trade shows as needed
- Establish relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in relevant areas
- Manage sales reporting and maintain a rolling forecast
- Update and maintain the company’s customer relations management software daily
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three to five years of sales experience (preferably in medical devices) or at least two years of related clinical experience in a hospital setting
- Proficiency with the Internet, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Willingness to travel 25-50%
