Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist with a strong background in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and accounts payable / receivable . The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in GAAP compliance, NetSuite, and Excel , with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

This role is part of a highly dynamic team and requires flexibility, problem-solving skills, and initiative to support various accounting functions as needed. Candidates must be available during the first four business days of each month to assist with month-end close , including potential overtime.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain and oversee general ledger accounting , including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and revenue reconciliation .
• Assist in preparing federal, state, and local reports and tax returns in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes ; ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track financial transactions and maintain accuracy in reporting.
• Follow company policies and interpret financial reporting requirements while maintaining compliance.
• Act as a floater , providing coverage for teams during LOAs, PTOs, and high-priority projects .
• Assist in creating and maintaining SOP documentation when required.
