- Refine current accounting procedures and implement new processes to improve efficiency.
- Manage inventory and financial records using QuickBooks and Builder Trend .
- Collaborate with project managers to develop cost-effective budgets for construction jobs.
- Perform accounting duties throughout project lifecycles, including estimating cash flow and signing off on purchase orders.
- Analyze transactions, identify potential financial risks, and update budgets as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive records of project finances for auditing and tax purposes.
- Prepare cost analyses by interpreting financial data and project metrics.
- Report budget discrepancies and financial risks to management.
- Monitor market trends to anticipate construction-related price changes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Reconcile monthly inventories and work with the CPA for month-end closings and financial statements.
