What are the responsibilities and job description for the AV Technicians position at Next Level Technician?
Next Level Technician is seeking Audio Visual Technicians in the Atlanta GA area. Candidates that are highly motivated and ready to work in a hands-on environment are encouraged to explore this opportunity!
Our technicians work primarily on commercial and industrial jobsites. From determining the AV needs and vision of our clients to properly installing all necessary devices, our teams are prepared to bring events and presentations to life quickly and correctly. Prior experience in the audio-visual field is preferred.
Audio Visual Technician Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with all associated wiring for audio visual devices, including but not limited to the ability to pull, terminate, and test CAT5E and CAT6 cabling
- Installing both temporary and permanently placed devices in event and presentation spaces
- Working knowledge of various audio-visual devices, such as speakers, monitors, projectors, screens, microphones, podiums, lighting equipment, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and adjust on the fly
- Mounting monitors, cameras, and signage throughout facilities as directed by blueprints and schematics
Next Level Technician offers weekly pay and the opportunity for a signing bonus. OSHA, BICSI, and Aerial Lift certifications are preferred but not required. Familiarity with Crestron, Extron, or Lutron systems is a huge plus. Candidates looking to expand on their existing skillsets and eager for longevity in the audio-visual field can find a home here!
Audio Visual Technician Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- 2 years of audio-visual installation experience
- Working knowledge of audio-visual devices and respective functionality
- Basic hand tools and PPE as dictated by each project
- Ability to work from heights as needed, using various sized ladders and lifts
