What are the responsibilities and job description for the Level 1 Data Center Technicians position at Next Level Technician?
Next Level Technician is urgently looking for Data Center Techs in Ashburn, VA. Day 1 techs do the rough in of all of the Copper (Cat 6) and Fiber Cables. They will also do the rack and stack of switches, router etc.
- Experience installing Cat 6 cables in a Data Center.
- Experience installing Fiber Optic Cabling. Mainly pre-terminated. They should have experience with both LC and MPO connectors
- Experience in dressing cables in wire management, in cable trays and on ladder racks.
- Rack and stack switches, servers and other components in the racks.
- High attention to detail with cable labeling
