Classification : Exempt

Salary Range : $97,000 $122,000 annually plus a $5,000 relocation bonus

Position Summary :

Chief Nursing Officer is a key leadership role responsible for enhancing the quality of patient care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing the nursing staff within a dynamic healthcare setting. This role demands strategic oversight of nursing operations, staff development, and quality assurance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Nursing Staff Management : Lead and supervise the nursing staff, ensuring adherence to high standards of patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations. Manage staffing logistics to balance departmental needs with budget constraints.
• Quality Assurance and Patient Safety : Develop and oversee quality assurance programs to maintain and enhance patient care standards. Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Regulatory Compliance and Policy Development : Maintain continuous compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Develop policies that align nursing practices with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Professional Development and Training : Facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for nursing staff. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration : Work closely with various hospital departments to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care and compliance.

Qualifications :

Working Conditions :

Work involves varied environments such as medical offices, acute care facilities, and potential travel. Exposure to patient conditions, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases is common. Interaction with diverse individuals, including upset or ill persons, is frequent.

Physical Requirements :

Requires physical activities like walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds. Includes prolonged standing and the need for good manual dexterity and visual and auditory acuity.
