Schedule : Full-Time | 8-Hour Shifts | Monday Friday | 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
Work Weekends : No
Salary : $95,000 to $120,000 (Negotiable for the right candidate)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Imaging Director to lead our client's Imaging Services Department. This role is responsible for overseeing all imaging operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing imaging personnel. The Imaging Director will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, maintaining high-quality patient care standards, and managing financial performance within the department.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong technical expertise in imaging services, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Operations : Provide supervision and guidance to all imaging technologists while ensuring seamless departmental operations.
- Quality & Compliance : Oversee imaging programs to ensure regulatory compliance with Joint Commission, FDA, MQSA, ACR, NRC, and state guidelines.
- Equipment & Technology : Maintain imaging records, direct the PACS Administrator, and oversee the operation, maintenance, and acquisition of imaging equipment.
- Financial & Budget Management : Prepare and manage the annual department budget, ensuring financial performance and cost-effective resource allocation.
- Staffing & Training : Manage staff scheduling, hiring, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development to maintain a high-performing team.
- Physician & Community Collaboration : Serve as a liaison with medical staff, community colleges, and affiliated training programs to ensure high clinical standards and support educational initiatives.
- Process Improvement & Strategy : Implement quality assessment and performance improvement programs to enhance imaging service delivery and efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred.
ARRT, ARDMS, or CNMT registry required.
3-5 years of experience in imaging services leadership preferred.
