As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Systems Engineer I to join our team.

The Systems Engineer I will take charge of Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACD) events across our client environments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented IT professional with hands-on experience managing user and device lifecycle events, ensuring seamless execution, and maintaining accuracy across our PSA system. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and vendors to ensure smooth transitions, accurate documentation, and adherence to our Advanced Lifecycle Management (ALM) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading MACD events related to user accounts, workstations, and software licenses. You will ensure that all MACD requests are properly scheduled, assigned, and completed within SLA timelines while working directly with clients to confirm details, requirements, and scheduling. Additionally, you will oversee license assignments, role-based access controls, and provisioning steps, ensuring compliance with company policies.

You will play a key role in lifecycle management by maintaining adherence to ALM standards, ensuring that device and user onboarding and offboarding follow best practices. This includes tracking and documenting asset details, serial numbers, and lifecycle status to maintain PSA accuracy. You will oversee pre-deployment configurations for new users and devices to ensure a seamless first-use experience while implementing and enforcing zero trust security best practices for access control, device compliance, and identity management.

A critical part of this role involves managing and ensuring the accuracy of MACD-related tickets. You will review and update tickets to ensure proper categorization, SLA adherence, and agreement alignment. Additionally, you will provide feedback to technicians on ticket accuracy, assist with workflow optimizations, and identify recurring MACD issues, collaborating with the Service Delivery Manager to improve processes.

Collaboration and continuous improvement are essential aspects of this position. You will act as a liaison between technical teams, finance, sales, and procurement to facilitate smooth MACD execution. You will also work closely with Professional Services on larger-scale deployments that require advanced configurations. Contributing to documentation and process development, you will help refine MACD workflows, SOPs, and automation strategies. Additionally, staying up to date with Microsoft 365, Intune, and cloud identity management best practices will be key to continuously improving lifecycle management processes.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a skilled IT professional with 1-3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or service delivery, preferably within an MSP or IT services environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and endpoint management, as well as expertise in user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access control.

A strong technical foundation is essential, including familiarity with PSA systems-preferably HaloPSA-ITSM workflows, and ticketing best practices. Candidates should possess a deep understanding of user lifecycle management, identity and access management, and device security. Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are required, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
