Data Evaluation Specialist
Overview:
The Data Evaluation Specialists are responsible for managing data collection, analysis, and reporting to assess program effectiveness, ensure compliance with funding requirements, and support continuous improvement. This role is essential in maintaining accurate records, evaluating service impact, and ensuring data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and maintain program data related to outreach contacts, counseling sessions, referrals, and service utilization.
- Analyze service impact by compiling and interpreting data to assess program effectiveness and inform decision-making.
- Prepare reports for grant compliance and organizational stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy regulations, including HIPAA and other relevant standards.
- Support program evaluation efforts by assisting with data collection methods, surveys, and performance monitoring.
- Utilize database management and reporting tools to organize, store, and retrieve program-related information efficiently.
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure data-driven insights inform service improvements and resource allocation.
- Trains and supervises data entry assistant.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Social Science, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in data collection, reporting, and program evaluation within a nonprofit, healthcare, or human services setting.
- Proficiency in database management and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, SPSS, Tableau, or other data software).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of grant reporting requirements and compliance standards (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in community outreach or human services settings (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $17.50 per hour
