JOB PURPOSE
The part-time Office Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of our high volume regulated cannabis manufacturing and distribution company. This role will focus on cash and safe management for the sale team, coordinating armored car pick-ups, mail collection, handling facility and corporate errands, and general administrative duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- General office duties including but not limited to: answering office phone/door, general communication with vendors, order office and production supplies, keep office tidy and stocked, get mail, etc.
- Manage and reconcile daily cash drops from the sales team
- Track and document cash handling, safe contents, and armored car cash pick-up schedules
- Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to ensure proper handling and documentation of cash and checks
- Retrieve mail from off-site corporate mailbox, scan, and distribute accordingly
- Run errands between off-site facilities and bank
- Make sure all compliance records are up to date and accurate. This includes licenses, certifications, employee information, driver information, manifests, and other records.
- Handle confidential information
- Ensure compliance binder is up-to-date with all required documents per the MED
- Attend department meetings at least every 2 weeks.
- Stay up to date with current and future federal, state and city regulatory compliance rules and ensure they are implemented timely and promptly as it pertains to office documents.
- Intercompany travel and bank deposits are required and mileage reimbursement is proved on a bi weekly payroll.
WORKING CONDITIONS
General office environment Must wear required PPE, including mask, hairnet and lab coat when on production floor. May occasionally require lifting of up to 25 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 1 year general cash management, payment recording, and bank deposits
- Intermediate MS Excel and MS Word skills including knowledge of basic formulas.
- METRC and Leaflink experience preferred
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree preferred, but will consider high school diploma or equivalent with equivalent experience
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of the State's cannabis regulatory compliance requirements, particularly in books and records
- Capabilities with computer systems, software and hardware common to general accounting.
- Competent in Record-keeping procedures relating to compliance, employees and general accounting
- Possess a valid and current MED Badge
- 21 with valid drivers license
- Excellent attention to detail
- Sound organizational proficiencies
- Ability to conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner
- Critical time management
- Ability to identify and effectively prioritize actions and requirements.
