Producer 2

Nextant is looking for a driven Producer 2 to join our client team. We’re hard at work delivering on the continued legacy of the AGE OF EMPIRES franchise. We’re a passionate group responsible for growing a piece of gaming history, and we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager / Producer to partner with our Executive Producer in managing day-to-day production and workflow for various projects within the studio. Our ideal candidate is: detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; capable of coordinating, tracking and communicating complex work items across multiple projects seeing them through from end-to-end; a great communicator and biased toward an inclusive work environment, and someone who cares deeply about delivering the best possible gaming experience for the fans.In this role, you are a key contributor between internal and external teams across a wide variety of functions and subject matter expertise. You’ll have direct influence and responsibility for the quality and outcomes of feature development, product publishing efforts, and important partnerships.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identifying, communicating, tracking, reporting on, and closing out the individual tasks & work items assigned to you
• Coordinating across teams to deliver quality on-time, related to features, content, events, testing, localization, product extensions, and user engagement
• Review and provide informed feedback on development schedules and roadmap
• Collaborate with our internal and external teams to remove blockers and ensure pathways to product development and G2M goals
• Communicate status and updates on critical work items to key stakeholders regularly
• Actively unblocks work flows by utilizing existing solutions and/or implementing new tools or processes
• Providing flexible assistance for other Producers as needed
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in game production
• 2 published games with a Production role credit
• 1 year experience with Azure DevOps
• 3 years knowledge with Scrum and waterfall methodologies
• 3 years’ experience in Project Management in video games, or a related field that requires broad coordination
• 2 published games with a Production role credit
  Experience with Azure DevOps, Teams, Microsoft Office, and other project management tools
• First-hand knowledge of the AGE OF EMPIRES franchise
• Experience with Games-as-a-Service and operating a live product
• PC technical knowledge & PC gaming experience
• Scrum Certification as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
• Familiarity with C#, C , or other programming languages and basic engineering concepts

Pay Rate:

The annual salary range for this position is $72,000.00 - $79,500.00 in Washington State. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline. Nextant considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, and other market and business considerations when extending an offer. 

 Please note: Candidate must be in Washington, Texas, or Florida.
