What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at Nextcode placement?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Understand the processes of general construction. The glass aspect is not required but will be learned.
- Develop a cost-effective plan and schedule for the completion of projects following a logical pattern for the utilization of resources.
- Coordinate projects with contractors, architects, owners, and all involved parties.
- Verify complete estimate for the project with a detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, take-off information, contracting, etc.
- Coordination with CAD throughout the shop drawing process (CAD experience is preferred).
- Assumes responsibility for safety, quality, and productivity of glaziers.
- Monitors the efficient use of materials and equipment and the contractual performance of the project.
- Completes the project within the monies allocated.
- Tracks and controls the schedule as laid out by the contractor. Communicates the schedule to FMI management to coordinate the CAD, fabrication, and labor force scheduling.
- Coordination with estimators on selected projects.
Qualifications:
- Attendance at construction meetings as deemed necessary.
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people while maintaining maximum efficiency.
- Performs additional assignments per the direction of management.
- Daily travel as needed - markets (MN, IA, WI, ND).
Must Have:
- 5 years of commercial construction experience
- Assumes responsibility for safety, quality, and productivity of glaziers.

- Completes the project within the monies allocated.

Pay: $81,519.00 - $90,000.00 per year
