JOB TITLE : Storage Engineer
LOCATION : Monterey, CA
Position Overview :
The person in this position will serve in the datacenter support group, which includes the responsibilities of proper configuration of the SAN / NAS, backup systems, and security of the datacenter. This position provides daily monitoring and support administration for ensuring the healthy status, availability of IT Systems and infrastructure for all on premise and support for cloud-based programs & applications. The duties will also include managing development / sustainment, staging, production systems in a hybrid cloud / datacenter environment.
Job Duties :
The duties will include planning, installation, maintenance during or after-work hours, troubleshooting, and managing all servers and applications.
Job Requirements :
- Educational requirements include a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or 7 Years experience in system administration.
- Experience with SAN technologies in a highly virtualized and converged environment
- Experience maintaining a high availability datacenter
- Experience requirement is seven years of progressive experience in serving as a system administrator for Microsoft O365, VMWare vSphere and NsX-T, Linux Red Hat, Windows Server, SQL, Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, EMC SAN technologies and applications, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure.
