About the Role:
As an Instructor / Trainer, you will work closely with various departments to assess training needs, develop instructional content, and deliver engaging learning experiences. Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging in-person and virtual training sessions.
- Collaborate with teams to identify training gaps and create tailored instructional materials.
- Develop and enhance training content, including guides, presentations, and computer-based training (CBT).
- Continuously assess and improve training effectiveness based on feedback and learning outcomes.
- Quickly adapt to new systems and processes, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in instructor-led training (virtual & in-person).
- Content Development: Strong ability to create training materials, including written documentation and e-learning resources.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and e-learning tools like Articulate, Captivate, or Camtasia.
- Communication & Engagement: Confident public speaker with excellent facilitation skills who can break down complex topics in an engaging and digestible way.
- Adaptability & Initiative: A self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and quickly learns new technology.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple training initiatives while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, HR, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- Certifications in training or instructional design (e.g., ATD, CPTM) are a plus.
- Prior experience with Workday training is a bonus but not required—we’ll teach you the technical content!
- Outgoing, energetic, and charismatic—you naturally engage an audience and make learning enjoyable.
- A confident communicator who builds rapport with learners effortlessly.
- Highly adaptable, able to tailor training to different groups and learning styles.
- Proactive and resourceful, always looking for ways to improve training outcomes.
- Hybrid role based in Memphis, TN—remote work allowed for content development, but on-site presence required for in-person training sessions and meetings.
