The objective of the Student Programs at Nexteer Automotive is to select students with high potential and provide them with "real world" work experiences. Work assignments expose students to many of the company’s products, processes, procedures, problems, resources, staff areas and people so that they become aware of the career opportunities at Nexteer Automotive. Assignments are designed to assimilate acquired classroom education with actual hands-on work experience in a technical environment. In addition, Nexteer Automotive gains the opportunity to find new talent to enhance productivity.
Job Description:
Business Administration Student Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Experience with Google Drive is a plus (Google Docs, Sheets, Mail, etc.). Able to prioritize and multitask Help with passport and visa applications. Help create and track IT requests Willing to work on some nonadministrativerelated tasks (i.e. help with lunch meetings, errands, event planning, etc.). Fast learner Comfortable working in an office setting with various groups/departments of engineers.
Special Skills:
- Profiecient with Microsoft office
- Google Drive knowledge a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Job Requirements:
- Must have the ability to work 20-28 hours per week (during school)
- Flexible scheduling
- Must be studying pre-business at Delta College
- Must be a full time student (12 credit hours or more)
- Must have a 2.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale
