This position will provide legal support related to energy transactions, engineering, construction, procurement, operations, marketing, general commercial and utility work. She / he will play a lead role in structuring, negotiating, drafting, and providing general transactional support for multiple business units within the Company.Ideal candidates will have : A strong academic background and at least 5 years of experience in a top law firm, corporate legal department or financial institution related to the energy and utility industries.Experience drafting and negotiating power transactions, engineering & construction and procurement work, equipment supply work, operations and maintenance work, acquisitions and dispositions of energy infrastructure assets.Experience representing electric utilities and independent power producers, familiarity with electric utility regulation.This position will be based at our headquarters in Juno Beach, FL.Job Overview Employees in this job participate in complex legal matters and projects and deliver timely and quality legal services to clients with moderate supervision.Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides written and oral legal advice to clients
• Anticipates and guards against legal risks involving the organization
• Works to ensure budget compliance and avoids the need for outside counsel
• Ensures disclosure of potentially material legal issues to senior leadership

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
