We are seeking a talented professional to fill the role of Complex Claims Specialist at NextEra Energy. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for handling property damages claims asserted by or against the company.
About the Job:
You will investigate and evaluate each assigned claim to determine liability, bills, and/or negotiate satisfactory settlements of property damage claims when liability is found.
Main Responsibilities:
- Investigation, evaluation, and negotiation of satisfactory settlements of personal injury and major property damage claims.
- Support to company attorneys throughout the claims litigation process, including court testimony.
- Support to peers and training to new Specialists.
- Support to Service Centers to resolve claims matters.
The successful candidate will have experience in claims adjusting and a valid driver's license (non-CDL). A bachelor's degree is preferred.
