A holding company is seeking an experienced professional to join their team in their Greenwich office as a Senior Corporate Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting for corporate entities, overseeing the entire process from transaction initiation to internal and external reporting.
- Conduct analytical reviews for the entities under your responsibility and present findings to the senior finance management team.
- Oversee consolidation adjustments, allocate footnotes, and ensure disclosures in the consolidated audited financial statements.
- Assist with various audit-related work papers for interim and annual audits, addressing any additional follow-up inquiries as needed.
- Drive process improvements by partnering with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities and implement changes in your areas of responsibility.
- Participate in the ERP conversion from Peoplesoft General Ledger to NetSuite, focusing on optimized solutions.
- Perform other duties, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience within public accounting or similar corporate environment.
- CPA is a plus.
- Effective communicator, able to communicate with all levels of management.
- Experience with finance accounting systems (PeopleSoft / Oracle preferred) with strong IT systems aptitude.
Salary : $120,000 - $180,000
