A $10B private equity and credit fund, based in Greenwich, CT, is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Senior Fund Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and record accounting entries in compliance with company policies and US GAAP standards.
- Review monthly financial statements and records prepared by fund administrators.
- Prepare both internal and external deliverables, including investor requests and regulatory filings.
- Review quarterly unaudited and annual audited financial reports.
- Supervise the recording of journal entries and the maintenance of the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank accounts and issue capital call and distribution notices.
- Oversee and update accounting/financial systems, procedures, and processes.
- Perform other duties, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Accounting experience in a financial services environment is a plus.
- Experience with credit/debt, particularly debt instruments, is a strong plus.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
