NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a Program/Acquisition Risk Analyst to support our customer with the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Acquisitions (OA) in Washington, DC.

$90,000 - $100,000 a year
Duties:

•Will support the Government Program Manager on relevant project management aspects and will keep the PM informed on the status of relevant program activities, including possible assignments to source selection activities.
•Must thoroughly understand programmatic needs, capabilities, and associated capability gaps, using in-depth analysis to prioritize gap closures.
•The most important aspect of this position will be critical thinking, understanding of second and third-order effects and interdependence, and the ability to be multi-functional and versatile daily.
•Will participate (and coordinate aspects, as necessary) cross-agency meetings and industry engagement events.
 
Required Qualifications and Experience:

•Highly desired current CBP BI or DoD TS/SCI; Must obtain a CBP background investigation to retain the position. 
•Experience in developing requirements, acquisition planning, program risk identification and mitigation.
•Experience Analysis of Alternatives to determine the most beneficial use of resources and acquisition pathway.
•Must have a bachelor’s degree from accredited University; prefer BS degree in engineering or technical discipline.
•Must have 3-5 five years of experience, including experience with aspects described above.
•MS Teams, MS Office and great communication skills required.
•Must be able to successfully exert influence and sound programmatic judgment in a dynamic, fast-paced joint program environment.
•Currently a mix of onsite and telework required; may entail limited amounts of travel.
