Position Summary:
The Risk Analyst will perform mission identification and analysis for DoD customers and support Mission Assurance Assessment Team personnel with data analysis, critical facility identification, and mission decomposition. This analyst collects data on each facility to determine its primary, secondary, and tertiary uses, to include core and essential functions. This analyst also develops critical facility data during the mission analysis process. This data provides the foundational information, tenant and installation functions with operational levels to determine the Mission Criticality lndex (MCl). The analyst will also develop or contribute to out-briefs, reports, and managing schedules. This position is a Subject Matter Expert for mission dependency topics and support to military customers. They assist in the conduct of reviews of military headquarters plans, policies, and directives, to develop additional information in support of the MCI process.
Essential Functions:
- Support Mission Criticality Index (MCI) mapping and gap analysis based on past OPNAV N4 MAA related reports and stakeholder collaboration
- Develop mission specific MCI reports at the Service level to support strategic planning and gap analyses
- Develop MCI briefings based off specific regional or mission specific criteria
- Provide continuous improvement in the MCI methodology and process
- This position is primarily telework with frequent office and travel requirements
- Access and maintain SiPR / NiPR accounts on a monthly basis
Competencies:
- Understanding of critical infrastructure protection programs and DoD Risk Management processes
- Working knowledge of military operational planning processes
- Knowledge of the internet Navy Facilities Asset Data Store (iNFADS) and understanding of the DoD Real Property inventory processes
- Familiarity with MILCON and FSRM project and POM cycle process
- Working knowledge of the Universal Joint Task Lists (UJTL), service-specific task lists, and Joint Capability Areas
- Ability to work independently or as a team effectively
- High level of integrity, customer focus, and motivation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to acknowledge, communicate, escalate, and resolve problems
Education & Experience Requirements
· 12-15 years operational military experience
Other Requirements:
- Security Clearance: Obtaining a DoD Secret Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for clearance level required for the job.
- If you already hold a Secret Clearance this is a plus!
- Valid Passport: Possession of a current passport with a minimum of 8 months remaining until the expiration date.
- Hybrid Role: This hybrid role includes monthly travel to a local designated government site to work on secure networks and maintain access.
- Ability to maintain and access NIPR/SIPR accounts by monthly travel to employees designated regional site.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness and capability to travel, CONUS and OCONUS approximately 25% of the time.
