Inbuilding Design Engineer

We are looking to hire a RF Inbuilding Engineer based in Irving, Southfield, or Rolling Meadows (Hybrid)

What will you do as RF Inbuilding Engineer

JOB DUTIES & MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

JOB DUTIES: - Support the National Inbuilding team in reviewing In Building designs (in iBwave format) and completing the required RF paperwork per project. - Filing 911 and regulatory paperwork for all projects assigned to you - Team up with experienced RF Design engineers to manage projects throughout the country

Required Skills:

Extensive knowledge of FCC Emissions and RF Safety guidelines - Proficient on RF/Regulatory and PM Software: Atoll, Fuze/Siterra, Roof master/Roof view - Expert in office computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access. - RF System Optimization techniques for voice and data for Nortel, Motorola, and/or Nokia infrastructure - Should have a good understanding of engineering concepts, and must show aptitude and desire to learn and advance in a technical field. -

This individual needs to be experienced in RF Design for Indoor Systems. - Experience with RAN and DAS OEM systems required - Expertise with prediction and Mapping tools (Atoll, iBwave, MapInfo, Windcatcher) - An in-depth understanding of the various aspects of the RF Engineering elements that affect the decisions they are making or recommending - An end-to-end understanding of the systems they are making decisions on and the technologies that are driving them - A firm grasp and hands-on knowledge of the tools they are using as well as understand the range and limitations of those tools - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task - Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
