Technical Project Manager (4692)

NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is a hybrid, direct hire position.

SALARY: $125-$140K (depending on experience)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or STEM field, business, finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in project and program management, leveraging structured methodologies to effectively plan, track, monitor, and report on multiple concurrent initiatives
• Proven ability to develop and execute clear delivery plans, leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams to successful project outcomes.
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience engaging with senior (and executive) leadership, delivering clear, concise, and impactful presentations and communications.
• Understanding of end-to-end professional services processes (lead-to-cash), including systems (tax, account, audit software), performance metrics, and key service and product concepts.
• Ability to integrate efforts across multiple business units, working closely with stakeholders such as local business teams, MSP providers, finance, offshore service providers, senior management, and vendors to drive business objectives
• Experience leading projects in diverse, multi-cultural environments, effectively managing virtual and distributed teams to achieve results.
• Deep knowledge of project management methodologies, approaches, and tools, including SDLC and Agile. Experience working with Smartsheet (or similar PPM/PMO tool) required.
• Hands-on experience managing technical projects including software implementation and/or migration, PoC and PoC projects, etc.
• Experience and knowledge of change management methodologies, approaches, and tools
• Advanced knowledge and experience working with MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Teams, and other productivity tools is required.
• Fundamental understanding of key M&A concepts and post-closing activities.
• Certifications (nice to have, not required): Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
