The Office Administrator is responsible for providing clerical, financial and administrative support to the Dealership.
- Provides an outstanding customer service experience.
- Greets customers, answers, screens and directs phone calls.
- Assists with general administrative and clerical tasks such as preparing documents, receiving and sorting mail, and filing.
- Maintains and orders office supplies, as well as coordinates the maintenance and repair of office equipment. Monitors the use of equipment and supplies within the office.
- Acts as the Dealership's cashier. Accurately processes payments via credit, check and cash.
- Retrieves and processes incoming mail daily, distributes invoices to corresponding departments to be processed. Scans and organizes all vendor invoices.
- Responsible for processing, matching and coding vendor invoices in a timely manner to be sent for payment.
- Communicates with Controller regarding any accounting issues.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Ideal Candidates have the following:
- 2 years of related experience preferably in a truck dealership environment
- Accounting and cash handling experience a must
- High School diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred
- Effective communication skills including written, verbal, listening and customer service skills for relationship building with vendors
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office required (Word and Excel)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong analytical and math skills
