Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to manufacture high-quality firearm components. This role requires attention to detail, precision machining skills, and a strong understanding of firearm industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce firearm components to exact specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality control.
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets as needed to maintain tight tolerances.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, quality control personnel, and fellow machinists to improve processes and product quality.
- Adhere to strict quality and safety standards.
- 3-5 years of experience as a CNC machinist (firearms industry experience preferred).
- Proficiency in G-code programming and CNC machine operation.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet production deadlines.
- Knowledge of firearm components and manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check in compliance with ATF regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
