Nexus Gerard Family Healing, a member of Nexus family of treatment programs, located on a beautiful 12-acre campus in Austin, Minnesota, is accepting applications for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant.
The Administrative Assistant will need to possess multi-tasking skills and be customer service friendly.
Schedule/Pay/Location:
- Part-time, on-site opportunity
- Pay range: $18 - $20 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative, reception and clerical support for our outpatient mental health program
- Type and proof reports, correspondence and other materials for program and department staff
- Assist with clerical/administrative projects as assigned
- Operate and maintain all central office equipment (i.e. copiers, fax machines)
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required by Nexus; understand and support the Nexus philosophy and treatment modalities
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all Nexus/academy proprietary information, including the confidentiality of resident’s information/issues in compliance with all licensing regulations, Nexus policy, COA and HIPAA guidelines.
- Professionally answer and screen all incoming telephone calls
- Greet all visitors to the office and contact appropriate staff to handle needs/concerns
- Respond to internal calls for information and re-direction of calls in a professional, courteous manner
- Other duties as assigned or apparent.
Qualifications:
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- High School diploma
- PC literacy and experience in Microsoft Office products Word and Excel
- Proficiency in various general office equipment required (copiers, faxes, phones)
- Proficiency in transcription
Nice to have:
- Training in administrative support disciplines
- 2 years of previous office experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
