Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Charge Nurse / Nursing Supervisor to join a dynamic Emergency Department team. In this leadership role, you will assist in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care while guiding and mentoring clinical staff. This is a full-time position working 12-hour night shifts in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate clinical activities on assigned shifts in the Emergency Department.
- Direct patient care efforts, providing assessments, planning, and coordinating treatment.
- Serve as a resource for the clinical team, offering guidance in resolving operational and patient care challenges.
- Perform duties as a Registered Nurse (RN) as needed.
- Assist in departmental leadership and community involvement efforts.
- Maintain operational workflows to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Participate in staff development and training.
Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Licensing:
- Active California Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
- Experience:
- 3 years of recent RN clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- 6 months of recent clinical experience with mental health and wellness patients.
Preferred:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing.
- Training: LPS (Lanterman-Petris-Short) training.
- Experience:
- 1 year of experience in a leadership role, particularly in a behavioral health setting.

Pay: $141,200.00 - $223,100.00 per year
