Position Overview
Nexus Power seeks an Account Manager covering OEM’s for our growing electrical manufacturer’s representative agency. The position requires a strong, independent, customer focused sales representative with the ability to listen to and portray customer needs, provide technical/commercial guidance, and is efficient with detailed communication.
Successful Account Manager attributes:

- Identify and execute a growth strategy within product segments and vertical markets
- Technical understanding of electrical distribution products and how they integrate into our customer’s product(s)
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Limited To:
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with assigned Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) at all levels of their organizations
- Communicate and report sales progress/status versus yearly and quarterly order expectations to interested parties.
- Conduct technical presentations to customer engineering, procurement, or sales team to create preference and specification influence.
- Provide training, joint sales calls and applications support
- Travel to and visit account locations to foster customer relationships
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in managing, building, and working effectively within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiasm for solving problems
- Electrical component background with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new developments
- Growth minded with accountability to sales goals
- Possess a valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical industry experience and knowledge
- Prior sales experience, account management, sales management and demonstrated market growth
- Solid understanding of profitability and other financial measurements
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents.
- Excels at negotiating, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and working under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Compensation:

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
