Client is seeking a Mail Clerk to work in the Mortgage Banking Unit.

Minimum Candidate Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency.
  • Proof of Eligibility to work in NYS.
  • Candidate must have at least one year of experience in clerical support related work.
  • One year of Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, mail merge, formulas to compare spreadsheets).

Job Duties :

  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, including correspondence from Mortgage Loan Originators.
  • Open, time-stamp, and read mail to determine appropriate routing.
  • Route mail using designated electronic mail folders.
  • Maintain tracking reports and keep accurate records of mail received.
  • Complete necessary forms and documentation associated with mail handling.
  • Ensure mail-related records are kept up-to-date and organized.

    • In addition, the candidate must possess and / or have the ability to :

  • Work individually and as part of a team.
  • Track and manage reporting projects without daily oversight.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including working experience with Microsoft O365.
  • Manage varied tasks as assigned.

    • Miscellaneous Information :

  • Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Shift timing to be determined during the interview.
  • Client does not provide parking, but the office is accessible by subway or bus.
  • Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams
