What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist position at Nexus Therapy?
Nexus Therapy is now hiring for a part-time (.6 FTE, 3 days per week) or full-time (1.0 FTE, 5 days per week) school psychologist position for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year, with the potential to renew for the 2025-2026 school year! This position pays $100 per hour with up to 7 billable hours per day worked (21-35 for the full work week)! You would be working with a great, supportive district about 30 minutes outside of charming Yakima, Washington. The school schedule would be either 7:30AM-3:00PM or 8:00AM-3:30PM, with a half hour unpaid lunch. This position can be done in a hybrid role, where you would be remote one day per week if part-time and 2 days per week if full-time, for report-writing and attending some meetings. Job duties include administering and interpreting tests, writing reports, attending meetings, etc. Must be licensed as a school psychologist in Washington state.

```Duties:```
- Evaluate and diagnose psychology disorders in students of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs.
- Collaborate with other educational professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide education and guidance to students, families, and caregivers on development strategies.
```Qualifications:```
- Master's degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid Washington state license or certification in School Psychology.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in school psychology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
