Nexus Therapy is now hiring for a full-time on-site speech-language pathology assistant position for the remainder of this school year, with the potential to renew for the 2025-2026 school year as well! It pays $45 per hour and you can bill for up to 7.5 hours per day worked (37.5 hours/week)! The school schedule is from 7:50AM-3:20PM. You would be working on-site with a great smaller, yet supportive, district near charming Bay City, Texas. You would be working with 1st and 2nd graders with a variety of needs. Virtual SLP supervision will be provided. Must be licensed as a SLPA in the state of Texas.

```Duties:```
- Assist the speech-language pathologist in their daily duties.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve students' speech and language skills.
- Collaborate with other educators, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide education and guidance to students, families, and caregivers on speech and language development strategies.
```Qualifications:```
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Texas certification as a speech-language pathology assistant.
- Experience working with individuals with speech, language, and communication, disorders.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in speech-language pathology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and other educational professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
