Overview
Join our team at Texas Water Utilities, a leading water utility dedicated to providing excellent service to our community. The Maintenance Foreman will assist with facility maintenance, maintain and repair water, wastewater lines, and act in a lead capacity to crewmembers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Operate backhoe, mini excavator, haul equipment with trailer
- Responsible for water line and sewer repairs, new line installation, wet taps and sewer taps, fire hydrant repair, and valve repair.
- Assist with meter change out; pulls meters and installs new meters.
- Job requires irregular hours and being on-call 24 hours a day.
- Planning and Scheduling jobs.
- Inventory ordering, organizing and counting.
- Acquires permits for jobs and landscaping.
What You'll Bring
Education: Requires knowledge normally acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or GED plus advanced skills and technical knowledge of water and wastewater operations and maintenance attained by specialized courses and on-the-job training.
Experience: Three to five years of directly related experience in water and wastewater system maintenance and repair, including experience operating heavy equipment.
Computer Skills: Basic Skills
Certifications & Licenses: Requires a valid driver's license
