Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Admin & Onboarding Assistant to join our HR team. This role focuses on administrative HR tasks, ensuring employee records are complete, onboarding processes run smoothly, and office morale remains high. The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, and enjoys fostering a welcoming and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Employee File Management
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, including preparing paperwork and ensuring all required documents are completed and signed.
- Screen applicants and conduct initial interviews for entry-level roles to identify top talent and support the hiring process.
- Conduct orientations organization and ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
- Audit personnel files to confirm required documents are on file and signatures are obtained.
Administrative HR Support
- Organize and manage HR filing systems (digital)
- Ensure HR documents and records are accurate and up to date in the HRIS
- Assist in processing employment-related paperwork, including status changes and verifications.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
- Monitor the HR Inbox and distribute where needed.
Employee Engagement & Office Morale
- Organize office events, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Help foster a positive workplace culture by assisting with employee engagement initiatives.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees throughout the organization regarding general HR inquiries, providing friendly and efficient support.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with BambooHR HRIS systems or electronic filing systems is a plus.
Location: San Antonio, TX (In-Person)

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
