Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Patient Appointments: Efficiently schedule wound care assessments, treatments, and follow-ups to optimize our mobile care resources.
- Patient Communication: Be the friendly voice our patients hear, providing clear instructions and compassionate support.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all patient information is up-to-date in our electronic health records (EHR) system, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.
- Resource Allocation: Work closely with our mobile wound care team to effectively distribute resources based on geographic location, wound severity, and equipment needs.
- Optimize Schedules: Regularly adjust appointments to accommodate urgent cases, maximize provider availability, and minimize patient wait times.
- Advocate for Patients: Address patient concerns and accommodate special requests to provide personalized care.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Foster seamless communication and cooperation among healthcare providers, nursing staff, and administrative personnel.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor patient satisfaction and appointment adherence, continuously seeking ways to improve our services.
- Emergency Response: Quickly coordinate urgent appointments to ensure prompt care for patients in critical condition.
What We’re Looking For:
- Certified Medical Assistant
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or coursework in medical office administration or related fields is a plus.
- Experience in healthcare scheduling, medical office administration, or customer service is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in scheduling software, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Genuine empathy and sensitivity towards patients’ needs.
