Role Overview
Nexus is seeking a contract or full-time Senior Talent Acquisition Partner with extensive experience in hiring Software Engineers, Engineering Leaders, Product Managers, and Technical Researchers for fast-growing startups and established tech companies.
You will own the end-to-end hiring process for high-impact technical and product roles across Engineering, Product, and Research teams. You will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to ensure an exceptional candidate experience, a structured and effective hiring process, and the attraction of world-class technical talent. As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will play a critical role in scaling Nexus’s technical and product organizations while promoting our brand and mission.

Responsibilities
- Drive the full-cycle recruiting process for Engineering, Product, and Research roles, from sourcing to closing top-tier talent.
- Build strong, strategic partnerships to deeply understand hiring needs and align recruiting efforts with business goals.
- Develop and implement innovative technical sourcing strategies to attract the top 5% of engineering talent in the market, including passive talent outreach and community engagement.
- Engage with technical and product communities, conferences, hackathons, and online forums to build relationships with top engineers, PMs, and researchers.
- Utilize data-driven insights to continuously optimize your recruiting process and enhance efficiency.
- Maintain an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring a smooth and transparent hiring journey.
- Minimum of 7 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, successfully scaling fast-growing technical teams for early-stage startups and/or brand-name companies.
- Extensive experience sourcing and engaging talent in distributed systems, ML/AI, cryptography, Web3, cloud infrastructure, high-performance computing, and product development.
- Strong knowledge of engineering and product skill sets, interview processes, and technical assessments to effectively evaluate candidates.
- Passion for building and scaling teams with a culture rooted in integrity, honesty, and excellence.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on results.
- Ownership mentality, demonstrating a proactive, results-oriented approach with the ability to independently drive initiatives and deliver outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a natural ability to create trust and meaningful connections across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven success in scaling companies through key growth stages, from Series A to Series B and Series C.
- Experience recruiting for Web3 companies, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the space.
- Background in CS, Engineering, Mathematics or other quantitative fields.
