About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Large Vehicle Repair Expert to join our Fleet Services team at NFI Industries. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex electrical and mechanical issues on our tractor and trailer fleet, ensuring optimal performance and extending vehicle lifespan.
Responsibilities:
- Detect and resolve electrical and mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on our fleet to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our fleet's systems and components.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
- Technical or advanced degree or 2 or more years of equivalent maintenance experience
- Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication
