What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Clinical Director position at NFI Massachusetts, Inc.?
NFI Massachusetts Inc., a non-profit human services agency, is currently seeking an Assistant Clinical Director for our Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) located in Westborough, MA.
The IRTP's are short-term locked facilities serving male and female youth who are referred through the Department of Mental Health (DMH). NFI’s IRTPs are state-wide residential programs for adolescents who have a serious mental illness and/or severe emotional and/or behavioral disturbances.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Clinical Director with the planning, implementation and oversight of the clinical services provided by the program.
- Reviewing client clinical records to ensure quality and compliance with funding source regulations.
- Providing appropriate feedback and training for program staff regarding record keeping.
- Providing individual counseling, when appropriate, as defined by each client's clinical treatment plan.
- Facilitating and/or coordinate clinical in-service training. Develop curriculum for therapeutic groups.
- Collaborating with program management and staff regarding therapeutic milieu and clinical orientation of program.
- Facilitating family meetings and home visits, as defined by each client's clinical treatment plan.
- Act as a liaison with psychiatrist and other agencies providing auxiliary clinical services.
- Coordinate, facilitate and/or participate in case conferences, treatment meetings and clinical review meetings, as appropriate.
- Being familiar with all program emergency procedures.
- Participating in on call rotations
- Supervising and supporting the clinical development of program clinicians, clinical case manager and other clinical team members.

Salary- $82,000 annually
Job Requirements:
- Position does not consistently carry a caseload but may need to support complex cases or family therapy.
- Ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience.
- LMHC, LICSW or LMFT license required.
- Previous experience with adolescent population and their families and expertise in trauma, crisis stabilization and management required.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and writing skills required.
- Must be fully vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated against COVID 19, per state regulations
