What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Program Director position at NFI Massachusetts, Inc.?
NFI Massachusetts Inc., a nonprofit human service agency, is currently seeking an Assistant Program Director for our adolescent program located in Wilmington, MA.
This program works with youth who are referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF), Department of Mental Health and Department of Youth Services. The program is structured in a trauma-informed, family focused environment. The therapeutic milieu is designed to foster success after transition out of the program.
The Assistant Program Director will be responsible for building and ensuring a milieu that promotes the safety and security of those served. The APD will be responsible for assisting the Program Director in the day-to-day operations of the program, including administrative tasks, staff supervision, oversight of client care and treatment coordination.

- Program improvement.
- Fiscal management.
- Administrative excellence.
- Incident response and investigation.
- Policy implementation.
- Supervision and development of staff.
- Rotational On-Call
- Communication with families, funding and licensing representatives.
- Ability to support all agency initiatives and respond to multiple stakeholders are all part of the job.
Job Requirements:
- One to two years of supervisory experience working with similar population.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle is a must.
- Schedule requires a level of flexibility.
Salary: $70,000
Benefits for full time employees include: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, 403(b)Retirement Plan, 3 weeks paid vacation time, Paid Sick Leave and Tuition reimbursement up to $2500 per fiscal year
