What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Residential Supervisor position at NFI Massachusetts, Inc.?
NFI Massachusetts Inc., a non-profit human services agency, is currently seeking an Assistant Residential Supervisor for our Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) located in Westborough, MA.
Assistant Supervisors are responsible for assisting the Supervisor in the safe running of all shifts. Additionally, the Assistant Supervisor will provide supervision of residential counselors and will oversee the running of shifts in the absence of a Supervisor.
NFI’s two, fifteen bed IRTPs are state-wide residential programs for adolescents who have a serious mental illness and/or severe emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. The two programs provide vigorous treatment in a locked setting for youth who are unable to be safely treated in a less restrictive setting. The programs are highly resourced with highly trained and credentialed staff which include child psychiatry, nursing, occupational therapy, clinical services, in-house education and therapeutic milieu.
Hourly Rate: $23.50/hr
Some duties include:
- Oversight of Youth Counselors.
- Running structured program shifts.
- Administrative oversight of daily tasks and procures.
Job Requirements:
- Residential counselor experience preferred.
- Two or three years of experience working with similar populations.
- A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required.
- Must be fully vaccinated, or willing to be vaccinated against COVID-19 per state regulations
