This is a hybrid position with in-office flexibility 2-3 days a week.
Summary: This is a full-time position for the summer months, working with the ERISA team and other members of the national investment committee. The intern will build relationships with the investment management company contacts and other internal and external resources. The position requires day to day work on investment research, analysis, verbal communication with advisors in the field as well as electronic and other written communications. The intern will be responsible to complete a project at the direction of their supervisor and present their findings at the end of the program.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The base hourly range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00. The base pay rate offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base pay, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist ERISA Team with research on legislation and judicial opinions
- Ability to prepare summaries and reviews of legislation and judicial opinions
- Ability to assist with research on plan consultant legal and compliance questions
- Eagerness to learn about retirement plan documents and ERISA in general
- Deliver presentations on various topics and actively engage in receiving professional feedback
- Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and verbal communications
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with a positive attitude, proactive mindset, and entrepreneurial spirit
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and prioritize
- Inquisitive by nature
- Enrolled to an Accredited Law School preferred
- Demonstrated leadership experience in college, community, internship, or co-op experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Interest in Investment Advisor and/or Financial Services Industry
