Job Summary
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing technical projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting high-quality standards.

The base salary range for this position is $85,00 - $100,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. The actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage multiple technical projects simultaneously
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management
- Oversee release management process, ensuring coordination across product, engineering and testing teams and managing risks to ensure successful releases
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions
- Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives
- Utilize project management tools and software to track and report on project performance
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment
- Support the representation of FieldTech’s technology vision and capabilities in the insurance industry, participating in sales, customer success, and partner development
- Advise on the corporate product roadmap, providing expertise on feasibility
- Help to grow leaders at FieldTech by providing mentoring and coaching outside formal lines of the hierarchy
- Contribute to our culture by championing an innovative, collaborative, and bold vision for the company
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Preferred)
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Technical background with knowledge of software development and IT infrastructure
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project)
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus
