Job Title: Workers’ Compensation Claims Representative
New Hampshire Public Risk Management Exchange (Primex3)
Department: Claims & Coverage Programs
Reports to: Director of Claims and Claims Manager

Primex3 has an opening for a Workers’ Compensation Claims Representative. The Claim Representative works in a team, assigned to a specific geographic territory with a Claims Consultant. The Claims Representative is responsible for managing a caseload of medical only workers’ compensation files. The position provides technical support to the Claims Consultant, answering questions and interacting with members, providers and injured employees telephonically and via email. Primex3 Workers’ Compensation Claims Representatives must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Workers’ Compensation Claims Representative Essential Job Functions:
- Review medical only claims to determine compensability and process in accordance with statute.
- Review bills and corresponding medical records to determine compensability of bills.
- Provide outstanding customer service to Primex3 members, claimants, medical providers and vendors by promptly and professionally responding to issues and concerns.
- Maintain claim file with accuracy and up to date information in claims management system.
- Create professional letters to correspond with multiple parties.
- Occasionally travel to member locations to participate in claims review and/or presentations.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Workers’ Compensation Adjuster Position Qualifications:
Valid NH Workers Compensation Adjuster’s license.
2 years’ experience in workers’ compensation claims adjusting.
Minimum of an associate’s degree preferred.
Valid NH Driver’s license: Limited in-state travel may be required.
