Assistant Admissions Coordinator for NHC Sumner The NHC Place Sumner's campus is home to a 92-bed HealthCare Center, a 62 unit-apartment Assisted Living community with 20 apartments in Memory Care.
Our campus has a restaurant-style dining rooms, landscaped courtyards, and recreational amenities. Highlights for the admissions assistant position include : Verifying insurance benefits Coordinating appointment times to meet with patient representatives to complete pre-admission paperwork Meet with patient and / or patient representatives to complete admission paperwork Completion of required transfer and return to center notifications Entering patient information into EMR Post Discharge contact with patient and patient representative The ideal candidate is detail oriented and must have : Experience in verification of benefits Experience obtaining insurance authorizations Experience signing admissions paperwork Requirements : Not required but preferred prior experience in medical setting admissions.
