Position Overview:
The Apparel Department Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Development and Purchasing departments by efficiently managing various tasks related to data entry, SKU management, inventory control, and coordination of samples. The successful candidate will be able to manage overlapping projects and a variety of tasks. To excel in this role, the candidate must have excellent Microsoft Excel skills, be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and have a keen understanding of clerical duties. The person in this role is expected to act quickly on urgent requests. They are expected to complete their tasks on time or early and proactively communicate with key stakeholders to keep projects moving. This role plays a crucial part in bringing our industry-leading apparel to market and requires the ability to multitask and work cross-functionally with our teams.

Regular Duties:
- Accurate and timely entry of product-related data into relevant systems.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across databases.
- Review data in our systems vs. documents and make sure they are correct
- Maintain SKU information, including creation, updates, and discontinuation.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure accurate SKU representation.
- Regularly update internal systems with accurate information.
- Manage trims and packaging inventory, in all warehouses
- Place and track orders for trim and box replenishment.
- Coordinate the information, communication, organization, and distribution of product samples.
- Place salesman sample PO’s.
- Track salesman sample production and delivery.
- Organizing and preparing samples for handoff to the creative team.
- Responsible for shipping salesman samples to relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and distribute prebook summaries, including Do Not Reorder (DNR) and cancel lists.
- Ensure timely communication of key details to all relevant parties.
- Coordinate and manage the review of invoices.
- Verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Set up all back-end data and details for catalog creation.
- Communicate details for catalog configuration to relevant teams.
- Review all catalog proofs for accuracy.
- Assist the development team with clerical tasks during the development cycle.
- Upload costing and product details to our systems.
- Keeping track of and setting up supporting documentation and costing.
- Respond promptly to the ad-hoc requests and prioritize workload effectively.
- Arrange shipments.
- Communication and organization of documents with our vendors.
- Assist the department in various tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Business Administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Great with clerical, data-centric tasks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and with vendors.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Google Docs, One Drive, and Asana is a plus.
- Knowledge in inventory management, order creation & tracking, and supply chain logistics a plus
- Familiarity with financial processes, such as invoice reviews and shipment payments a plus.
Salary Range:
$45K/yr - $55K/yr
