The Part Time Technical Assistant for Accounting within the Academic Center for Excellence will be expected to provide academic support to students during assigned hours. Hours are available Monday through Saturday.
The rate of pay is based on the level of education the candidate possesses. For a Bachelor's degree or lower the rate of pay will be $20.60 per hour. For a Master's degree or higher the rate of pay will be $22.66 per hour.

In order to build and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates to meet our present and future needs for this position, Niagara County Community College will accept applications on a continuous basis. Typical Work Activities
Technical assistants with a concentration in accounting will be responsible for assisting students in multiple courses ranging from Introduction to Financial Accounting to Computerized Accounting as well as specialty courses such as Managerial Accounting, Organization & Management, and Fundamentals of Marketing.
Essential Functions
Ability to relate to a diverse academic community; strong interpersonal skills; ability to utilize technology in performance of duties; ability to work effectively both individually and in team environment. Ability to multitask and work with a single student or multiple students at once, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment are required.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or higher in Accounting or related curriculum. Ability to multitask and work with a single student or multiple students at once, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment are required.
Desirable Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related curriculum; 1 year teaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level. Those with content area knowledge in computer applications, operating systems, word processing, and/or spreadsheets are desired.
